During his tenure with MetLife Securities, he completed extensive training specializing in retirement planning and comprehensive financial planning.

Robert holds a Master of Science in Accounting from the University of Michigan and a MBA in Finance from Colorado Technical University. He earned his BBA in Finance from Eastern Michigan University along with a Graduate Certificate in Corporate Finance. While attending Eastern Michigan, he received a Certificate for Outstanding Investment Research from the Chartered Financial Analyst Institute of West Michigan as part of the 2012 CFA Institute Research Challenge.

Robert, is driven by his passionate advocacy spirit, and sincere desire to help clients overcome the challenges they face in achieving their financial goals. He takes the time to learn what’s most important to his clients, this becomes the basis in establishing a successful long-term relationship.

Robert utilizes a holistic approach to maximizing return on investment (ROI) in creating individualized portfolios by reducing unnecessary costs, risks and taxes, while optimizing resources, improving efficiency, reviewing and recommending investment selections in the attainment of client objectives, and performance goals.

Robert is a true Michigander, and currently resides in the Ann Arbor area. He has four children, three young adult daughters Jerrica, Janeea and Jakara, one young adult son Robert Jr. When he’s not working, Robert enjoys spending quality time with his family and friends. He is a lover of music and the arts, and enjoys sports, traveling, reading and learning. Robert is on the ministerial staff and leadership team at his church and serves as the Music Director and Minister of Music.
